Competitors Instructions (2008)

Welcome to Wallingford Rowing Club's Head of the River. These notes and instructions, are designed to help you get the most out of your day with us. Please help us by reading and complying with all the following:

We recommend that you print the Competitors Instructions on one page, with the Map on the reverse, and bring it with you to the event.

The safety plan must be read by every person taking part ~ competitors, their coaches, organisers, marshals, umpires and safety personnel etc.

Wallingford Head is run under the ARA Rules of Racing and follows the ARA Water Safety Code

It cannot be emphasised too strongly that it is the responsibility of Clubs, their athletes and coaches to ensure that their equipment complies in all regards with the requirements of the Water Safety Code.

This event, in common with all rowing events, may be photographed by amateurs or professionals who sell their photographs. By entering you recognise that you may be photographed in this way.
